Marrickville art prize

Sian McIntyre and Bianca Jane were exhibited in the 2008 Marrickville Art Prize.

Sian's work was displayed in the At The Vanishing Point Gallery in Newtown (4-21 sep) and Bianca was at the Chrissie Cotter Gallery in Camperdown (11-28sep) 

Sian's work "Family Series" recieved a commendation on the opening night. 

Sian is also involved in the 2008 Robert Menzies College Art Prize. The work will be displayed at Artamon Galleries on the 1st Oct. You can see the article and a picture of Sian's work here.

Blacktown Art Prize

Hey all 

We've had some exciting news over the weekend. 

Last Friday was the opening of the Blacktown Arts Prize in which three of our group represented. Ben Rak, Gokcen Altinok and Sian McIntyre were selected for the exhibition in the 'works on paper' category which is extremely strong this year.

Ben took home the $2000 prize in the 'works on paper' category so congrats to Ben for his work "Son" which is part of his "Everything is for Sale" Series.

Hi all this is the first post of the Dirty Hands printmakers.
Following our show at Breathing Colours gallery in Balmain we're having a second follow up Dirty Hands show at the Kudos Gallery, Napier Street, Paddington.
Opening night is December the 8th 2008.
